#antiheroinexsamsung

Hello everyone!

I have an exciting post to share with you today! Last month I was extremely honoured to have the opportunity to collaborate with PVS and Samsung for their #antiheroinexsamsung project!

I think this is my most exciting collaboration thus far in my blogging journey LOL. I'm such a sucker for shoes and I cannot think of any other boutiques but PVS whenever I think of getting myself new shoes!

A few years ago when Jefferey Campbell was all in the rage, I always thought to myself... "Ahhh how nice if Singapore carries them too! Then I can try them on in the boutique rather than buying online and not knowing if I will feel comfortable in them..."

Then PVS opened and I swear it's one of the best things that happened. I'm sure girls who LOVEEEEE shoes share the same sentiment.

So really, imagine how delighted I felt when I received an email from them! What's even more exciting was that it was a collaboration with not only PVS, but Samsung!

I LOVE SAMSUNG cameras and most of you would know that I'm using the Samsung EX2F camera as do many other bloggers. It is truly one of the best I've ever owned.  Why else would so many other bloggers be using it right?

This time around, Samsung decided to sponsor me something that is TRULY one of a kind!

BEHOLD!! The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom.

A camera and a phone combined! The best of both worlds! I know having the camera function is mehhhh now because which phone doesn''t come with a camera? But imagine a professional camera incorporated into a phone? Not to mention, the phone is still remains pretty damn slick?!

The #antiheroine influencers Peggy aka Sixpegs and 987fm DJ Sonia Chew and I actually went for a crash course by Samsung to learn more about this product and I was really very amazed by the features, especially the 10x optical zoom! The quality of the pictures / videos were as though they were taken from my Ex2F! *MAJOR THUMBS UP* It is also equipped with image stabilisers to cut the noise when zooming from a long distance!

The Selfie Alarm function also calls out to ALL the selfie lovers out there! You will NEVER be cropped out of your own pictures ever again even when you're using the rear camera. We all know the rear camera takes better quality pictures and Samsung Galaxy K Zoom makes sure of that!

For this collaboration, I was also sponsored a pair of shoes of my choice from PVS!! *SCREAMS*

Trust me when I say I was SPOILT FOR CHOICE. I wanted everything in PVS :( But since I couldn't, I ended choosing this pair of Roberta Heels from Miista. LOL. #firstworldpains Isn't it the prettiest though!? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW NOW...

You girls don't get too jealous first because you MIGHT stand a chance to win both the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom and PVS vouchers if you take part in their #antiheroinexsamsung contest!

All you have to do is to upload a picture on Instagram with the captions writing down your take on what an Anti-Heroine means to you. End it off with the hashtag #antiheroinexsamsung !! IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

I did a brief one when I posted on instagram but because it was instagram I couldn't type a lot.. Hahaha.

So I'm gonna try again here!

An anti-hero is a flawed hero, and therfore, much more intresting then the more traditional heros. They can be working on the side of good, but with a tradic flaw, or a horrible past, or for reasons that are selfish and not intirely "pure". They can also be working for the side of evil, but with hidden noble intentions, or other underlying complexities. These darker heros can be jerks, pathetic, hard, jaded, or mean. However, all anti-heros must have enought heroic qualitys, intentions, or strenth (physical including attractiveness or mental) to somehow gain the sympathy of the audience. Mostly they are intriguing and can therefore can be very, very, SEXY especially if you love bad boys / girls.

HAHAHAHA.

But I mean, I could really relate to it when I read it. I think everyone has an anti-hero / anti-heroine in them. Nobody is perfect and I think that's okay because everyone makes mistakes in life. Never run away from mistakes. Always face up to them. As cliche as it sounds, I feel that every lesson learnt in life makes you stronger. Mistakes and failures are necessary in order for you to grow and also to serve as a reminder so that you don't ever make them again.

It must be SOOOO tiring to try to be perfect ALL THE TIME. I think everyone (especially girls!) should embrace your flaws because honestly, there's only ONE OF YOU in this entire universe. Nobody else is the same and I do hope you don't want to be the same as everybody else.

Okay... I don't even know if I'm making sense. But ya..... that's how I really feel. I hate conforming. I'm one of those that if the more people like something, the more I'll NOT like it. Eg; Hello Kitty -.- I remember in primary school, all the girls in school started buying all the Hello Kitty shit... Guess what I started to "LIKE" ..... TWEETY BIRD!! LOLOL -.- So uncool......

KTHXBYE I WISH YOU GUYS GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST!!!
